Ethos Hotel - Oxford City

I think the place is really good.

It has good location to see a monumental college.

Ideal hotel with FRIENDLY service and marvellous location not far from the center of Oxford where the bars and restaurants are and the Cotswolds where the parking was free and the continental breakfast was actually a proper continental and included in the price and Oxford for a couple of days on business. Thanks to the outstandingly accommodating staff everything was really good, including lots ofgreat food.

Decent place for 7 nights with incredibly helpful staff with a very helpful and relaxing manner. Well-appointed and reasonably priced room, set near a bus stop.

It's excellent base for visiting some must see attractions in Oxford.

It was fashionable, air conditioned and for dressing etc.

We liked the hotel, it was quirky and had stunning location just next door to center, the main shopping centre and eateries and Oxford. The breakfast was outstanding with toast and a nice assortment of options, as example, and the restaurant's offer was delightful. The property had a cafe in the reception.

Nice modern rooms with a kitchen area. Close to Oxford centre and the pleasant Head of the River Pub.

Breakfast is a basket of things on top your microwave, they forgot mine depite a reminder, and offered no discount when checking out. The hotel is just rooms and a reception, no facilities.

Breakfast was good, large portions. Service was also good, the staff were very attentive.

Our bed was very close to the window which meant that it was awkward to get into one side and there was no bedside table.

Location and cost were great

Do not stay on ground floor. Too much street noise. Next door neighbors in hotel very loud and rude. Insisted on smoking and drinking outside their door thus blowing smoke thru our open windows. Solution was to close window and be in a stuffy room.

Location was fine with only a short taxi ride to the town centre.

Unfortunately the carpet reminded me of student accomodation as there were lots of stains on it!

Location and parking,within restrictions,was free.

Rather confined space within the bedroom and breakfast consisted of cereal and other food to be found in the room.This was not apparent when we booked.

The ability to have breakfast at one's own time choice.

The amount of space and the kitchen facilities

- Noone on site when I could not access internet ; for the price - a robe should have been available. There was the smell of stale cigarette smoke in the lobby.

Great stay!

The Beautiful Double Room was spacious, with a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. Loved the heated bathroom floor and comfy super-king bed. Breakfast had a nice variety, including pastries and fresh juices. The location was a quiet street yet just a short walk to city attractions. Very clean, too!

A very warm welcome, great room and fantastic location for Oxford city centre.

Breakfast in the room was pretty good, but lacked fresh fruit and bread. Generally thought that £125 for the room was a little on the expensive side.
